MECHANICAL ENGINEERING

Candidates score in JEE Main exams, Conducted in All India basis.

Description

Mechanical Engineering - is well known as an evergreen branch of Engineering. Mechanical engineers can seek jobs in Government Department, Public Sector Undertakings like Railways, Navy, military engineering services, DRDO, NTPC etc. and also there is scope in Private Sector and as well as in research and development department of automobile sector.

As we see nowadays government policy tending towards make in India, start up India and like many more thus we can expect the growth of manufacturing and production industries in new Developing India, thus there will be boost up in job opportunity for Mechanical Engineers.

Auto Cad Lab provides latest software advanced and experiences on such as Inventor, Auto Cad, Pro E, ANSYS facilitating students to learn and understanding design, analyze and conduct tests on virtual 3 D models. Students practice and are trained in this lab have been the proud winners of design competitions held in diverse environments.

Workshop is not only spacious but also equipped with latest and relevant tools ,Several items related to building of the infrastructure facilities in the campus are being fabricated here.

Department is also equipped with an Air conditioned Seminar Hall with Audio Visual, intranet facilities, Well maintained class rooms in quantity contributed in creating stimulating environment for teaching learning process. Department also manages its learning resources.

MACHINE DESIGN

Course Mode : Full Time Course Duration : 2 Years Seats : 24 Entrance Exam : Not applicable
Eligibility :
Candidates should have scored a minimum of 50% marks in their graduate professional proficiency. SC/ST/OBC should have scored 45% marks in the text cited above.

Description

M.Tech.in Machine Design program facilitates study of various materials required for the design of mechanical elements. The considerations, procedures and principles of Machine Design are being introduced to the students along with reliability and statistical considerations, deflections and stress analysis for different elements. Design engineer consultant for designing of products and detailed analysis using tools with finite element methods.

  • Successful postgraduates of the program shall have the opportunities such as a Team Member specializing in the CAD & CAE.
  • System Integrator for engineering systems where synergy of both mechanical and control systems are involved.
  • Academic career as a specialist in design related courses.

Department conducts on an average 2 to 4 lectures on topics of relevance, besides ensuring student visits to diverse professional environments.
