On 17 February, 2017, the BE First year students under the NSS Scheme took initiative to design a wooden tri-toy Walkers and students of 6 th Semester Mechanical Branch went for distributing them to the needy children in slum areas.
They went all the way to Doodh Dairy,Transport Nagar, Kokta under the guidance of Prof. Manoj Kumar Sharma and Prof. Rajiv Saxena, of Mechanical Department.
The project was encouraged by Hon'ble Chairman Oriental Group and Dean Academics OIST Bhopal, to fabricate certain goods that can be of use to the society. It is indeed in line with the mission of the Group, which states to foster research that is applied in nature and caters to the needs of the society.
