OIST Bhopal students emerge as winners in the AICTE- held Essay contest on National Education Day
The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) conducted a National online essay writing competition on 9th Nov.2015, to mark the birth anniversary of Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad, the First Union Minister of Education, Govt. of India. The day, every year, is observed as National Education Day, so, on this 8th year of celebration, the essay competition, received a large number of entries from students of different Engineering colleges of India.
The efforts of Orientalites bore fruit, as they managed to notch the First and Third positions, in the State of M.P. wherein the National level competition was held individually in every State. Out of the three top rankers, of Madhya Pradesh, two students are from the Oriental Institute of Science And Technology, Bhopal.
First position with a cash prize of Rs 5000, was won by Shreyash Trivedi 5thSem Electrical branch and third position with a cash prize of Rs 2000, was won by Bhavna Sharma 5thSem, MCA. The Management Staff and Students of Oriental Group congratulated the winners on their commendable feet.
