OIST organised a session on Big Data & Hadoop



On 15th March 2019,Department of Information Technology,OIST organised a session on Big Data & Hadoop for VI & VIII semester students . Mr Divyank Sharma was the expert of this session currently working as a Project Scientist in CSIR AMPRI,Bhopal. He has a vast experience as Data developer .He shared his valuable knowledge on the concepts of Data Mining, OOAP, RPA  and Business Intelligence and various concepts of cloud computing. The main emphasis of session was on the data processing and data storing .It inculdes 3Vs of data mining i.e. Volume, Velocity and Variety in terms of Big Data. These three Vs play a crucial role in data processing.

       The session also included the Client Server and Distributed architecture for Computation of data . Also,KDD(Knowledge Discovery Database) was the highlight of the session where student learnt how to translate an input data to target data via transformation and that resulted data will be beneficial for the users in their future endeavours. It was a highly interacting session for the students. Students demanded such type of expert lectures in future also.
